The year 2016-17 was a grace filled year, which marked many awards, rewards and successful activities. Holy Family Aided Senior Basic School was started on 1936 by Sisters of Charity Educational Society Mangalore, with the aim of up-liftment of educational backward area of Kasaragod district. Since these years, the institution has been developing the standard of education with the help of local resource. So far the thousands of students are educated through this institution and settled all over India and Abroad. Now nearly 895 children are getting education from 1 to 7th in Kannada, English, Malayalam media having 21 divisions.There are 895 students in our School, studying in Kannada, Malayalam and English Mediums. 171 kids study in the nursery. There are 25 staff including a computer teacher. Teachers refresh and enrich their content knowledge by attending different courses and cluster training programmes conducted by the department.

Computer education and other facilities are available. Children from all walks of life and cultural background are in our school. More than 50% of children are coming from economically poor background.

Each class takes its turn to conduct school assembly where they present different activities done in the class. There are various clubs such as Science, Math’s, Work experience, band club, literary club, road safety club, Scouts and Guides in the School. Each teacher and the members of the club are responsible to conduct different activities related to it.
