GHSS ADHUR is situated 3 Km East from Mulleria town.  The school is near to Adhur Police station and Adhur Check Post. The distance from Adhur to  Kasaragod is 18  Kms.

The School was started as Lower Primary School near Adhur Police station in 1901. At that time  the school contains only one building.in 1964,high school section was started.<br>

There are 5 buildings for the school. The school has malayalam and kannada medium classes from Ist to 12th standards. The school has a library,Laboratory and a IT Lab.<br>
ഹൈസ്കൂളിനും ഹയര്‍സെക്കണ്ടറിക്കും വെവ്വേറെ കമ്പ്യൂട്ടര്‍ ലാബുകളുണ്ട്. രണ്ട് ലാബുകളിലുമായി ഏകദേശം അമ്പതോളം കമ്പ്യൂട്ടറുകളുണ്ട്. രണ്ട് ലാബുകളിലും ബ്രോഡ്ബാന്റ് ഇന്റര്‍നെറ്റ് സൗകര്യം ലഭ്യമാണ്.

There are 10 buildings for the school. The school has malayalam and kannada medium classes from Ist to 10th standard. The school has a good Library,Laboratory and a IT Lab and play ground.We have higher secondary section with humanities and commerce.We have pre primary since 2012.There are 39 staff including HM,4  non teaching staff.<br>
