They are performing well in vidya rangam kala sahithya vedi programs and various day celebrations. The school conduct monthly Bala Sahithya Sabha programs and weekly spoken English classes.

കാസർഗോഡ് റവന്യൂ ജില്ലയിൽ മഞ്ചേശ്വരം ഉപ ജില്ലയിലെ പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ഒരു പൊതുവിദ്യാലയം ആണ് GLPS Vamanjoor . 1927 ലാണ് ഈ വിദ്യാലയം സ്ഥാപിതമായത്. മഞ്ചേശ്വരം MANJESWARAM പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ Vamanjoor Gudde എന്ന സ്ഥലത്താണ് ഈ സ്കൂൾ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ഇവിടെ 1 മുതൽ 4 വരെ 1 to 4 ക്ലാസുകൾ നിലവിലുണ്ട്.

ചരിത്രം

           മഞ്ചേശ്വരം ഗ്രാമ പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ പന്ത്രണ്ടാം വാർഡിൽ ഹൊസംഗടി ഗേറ്റിന് സമീപമുള്ള വാമഞ്ചൂർ എന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് 1927 ൽ ആരംഭിച്ച വിദ്യാലയമാണ് ജി എൽ പി എസ് വാമഞ്ചൂർ . തുടക്കത്തിൽ 9 ആൺകുട്ടികളുമായി പെലപ്പാടി കളിക്കമ്പാ അമ്പലത്തിന്റെ തൊട്ടടുത്ത് ഒരു ചെറിയ ഒറ്റ മുറി പീടികയിൽ കുടിപ്പള്ളി കൂടത്തെഴുത്ത് ആശാന്റെ പള്ളിക്കൂടമായിട്ടാണ് സ്കൂൾ പ്രവർത്തനമാരംഭിച്ചത്. നാട്ടിലെ കാരണവരുടെ തങ്ങളുടെ മക്കൾക്ക് എഴുത്തും വായനയും ലഭിക്കണമെന്ന ചിന്തയുടെ ഭാഗമായാണ് ഈ പള്ളിക്കൂടം ആരംഭിക്കാനുള്ള സാഹചര്യമുണ്ടായത്. (കൂടുതൽ വായിക്കുക)           

ഭൗതികസൗകര്യങ്ങൾ

The school have good infra structure facilities including three well equipped buildings, one dining hall,one kitchen and large play ground. The school owns 1.5 Acres of land and compound wall. There are 9 classrooms, one well equipped smart computer lab including 8 laptops and projectors, office room, one isolation room, separate toilet facilities for boys, girls and teachers, cleanly equipped kitchen, dining hall for children to sit and eat, separate class libraries for each classes, spacious play ground for children, and bio diversity park including plants, vegetable garden and medicinal plants.
