Fame Is The Last Infirmity Of Noble Mind The desire to win fame make us do many things .The desire for fame is powerful motivate for action. As far as ordinary men are concerned there are many other motives .The desire to satisfy physical needs like hunger and thirst is perhaps the most powerful motive in case of ordinary men .But in the case of noble mind ,the desire to win fame is the most powerful motive for active. It is an infinity or temptation because it tempts him away from what he ought to do . A man of real mobility knows that he should seek God. But he does something else in order to win fame. A noble man has overcome all other temptation.The desire for fame is the only temptation that remains to overcome.
