| {{PSchoolFrame/Header|A Child Rights Convention (CRC) project under the direction of the Lund University based in Sweden and the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) is currently underway in this school. There have been regular visits from foreign representatives to see the workings and functioning of the school. Around 40 foreign visitors from 12 different countries came for a visit on the 12th of November 2014 and the school garnered considerable praise from the visiting parties for the methodology and workings. The Internal Support Mission (ISM) of the SSA established by the Central Government reviewed the school and gave it an evaluation as ‘Outstanding’ in all categories. The school has been visited by all of the district’s educational officers and school principals’, various panchayat dignitaries and district panchayat dignitaries and students studying TTC (B.Ed). Since this school is located nearby a forest area, most of the students have to travel a distance of 5 to 8 km to reach the school premises. A lot of the children studying in this school belong to the backward community so the school has to ensure that nutritious food, sufficient health care, clothing and a home environment conductive for studying. The school also ensures that every student is protected from physical and mental torture and child labor. As a part of this, in 2011-12, a two day Vision workshop was conducted and 14 projects were envisioned. In the following 3 years most of these projects were put into action and as a result, student dropouts were eliminated completely and attendance maintained at 100 percent.=}} | | {{PSchoolFrame/Header}} |
