COVID 19
COVID 19 is an infectious disease caused by a
newly discovered corona virus. It was first detected in
Wuhan, china on 31 st december 2019. On 11 th february
2020 WHO named this new corona virus as COVID 19.
Even if the death rate is low the virus spreads rapidly all
over the world. Almost 200 countries are effected by this
virus. It is mostly affected in Europe countries. Especialy
in Itally, Spain and England. Tha death rate is very high in
Italy and Spain. America was also effected by corona virus
very badly. Almost 17 lakh confirmed cases and 1 lakh
deaths were reported by the countries and teritories all
over the world. More than 4 lakh cases were reported in
America itself. A vaccine or medicine for this virus has not
been found.
In January, first corona case was reported in
Kerala, India. Gradualy this virus spread all over India.
Kerala fought against this virus stronglyand we were able
to control the spreading of corona virus. The medical
department and the police together took the precautions to
avoid the sprea of this virus. The whole nation was said to
to go under lockdown for 21 days. The virus spread
rapidly in Maharashtra. The most number of cases were
reported here. By 11 th April 2020, 6565 cases were
reported, 642 people were cured and 239 people were dead
in India. The number of people getting cured from the
virus is increasing in Kerala. There were 365 confirmed
cases in Kerala 124 people were recovered and 3 men
died. The most number of cases were reported in
kasargodeThe government of Kerala confronted this virus

teacher. There is no cure for this virus. The only way is to
keep social distance and avoid the spreading of this virus.
