FUTURE OF DEMOCRACY Long time back when people lived in countries ruled by king or queens nobody could dream about the social conditions we enjoy today.In those days a person who ruled a country enjoyed full freedom to do whatever he liked. Majority of countries were ruled by powerful king. Those who disobeyed the king were mercilessly killed or exiled. The concept of democracy in those days was only a dream. Later on people fought against the rule of king and many countries become the independent nation. Abraham Lincoln considered a democratic government as a government, of the people, by the people and for the people. After the industrial revolution people have become more conscious about their capabilities. Now a days the great progress achieved in the fields of science and technologies has made majority of the world’s population self sufficient. The future of democracy is very bright.
