IT WAS NOT JUST MASKS AND SANITIZERS.... Half a dozen years ago, when I was learning in 5th grade, in International Indian School, Jeddah, corona struck Saudi Arabia for the first time. The kingdom took several precautions to avoid its spreading. Everyone was ordered to wear masks while going outside. Everyone in school wore masks and had hand sanitizers in their bags. Watching all of my friends in masks and testing out the flavor of their hand sanitizers, it felt like nothing more than just an experience. But today, after about 6 years, this massive outbreak of virus makes me wonder how I was that cool about a virus outbreak before. I was just 11 then and what more seriousness would I have rather than making sure my sanitizer smelt good ? Today, I just hope that this virus disappears from this world because, for me, it's not a thing about the flavor of my hand sanitizer or the color of my face mask, but it's all about life, Human Life. It hurts, thinking of the people who suffer with this disease, thinking of the people who have lost their family and friends, moreover, thinking of the people who live a hard and miserable life during the lock down. And what more? it's not just humans, but animals too are affected by this virus . And like they say everything is for a reason, I'd like to believe that corona has got a specific reason for its arrival, and besides the sorrow it gives us today, it has something good within it and that will soon be visible to us. Corona surely enhanced our sense of personal and environmental hygiene and I hope that everyone keep up with it. Even though the postponed exams create a lot of stress and irritation to me, I just hope everything becomes fine and a lot better than before. May this corona virus help us to change our attitude towards nature and enhance our sense of humanity. Hope these bad times teach us good lessons. Stay home.
