ELEP at G H S Beenachi | |||
The inaugural ceremony of the English Language Enrichment Programme (ELEP) was conducted on 10 july 2025 with great enthusiasm and particioation at GHS Beenachi. The event commenced with a warm welcome speech by Saji T G, the Headmaster of the school, who extended greatings to the dignitaries, teachers, students and parents. It was followed by a small talk by Sreelakshmi Sunilkumar, a student of ELEP, who shared her experiences and expectations from the programme. The keynote Address was delivered by Sheeja T R, Senior Lecturer Diet Wayanad. She emphasized the importance of language proficiancy in shaping student's future and highlighted how ELEP can play a pivotal role in achieving this goal. Tom Jose, chairperson of the Education Standing Committee, delived the Presidential Address, where he appreciated the efforts of the school in implimenting such progressive programmes and motivated the students to make the most of this opportunity. The programme was formally inaugurated by T K Ramesh, chairperson of Sulthan Bathery Municipality. In his address, he stressed the need for English communication skills in today's competitive world and assured continued support from the local administration for such initiatives. Felicitations were offered by representatives of PTA, CMC, MPTA, who conveyed their full support and appreciation for the school's efforts in empowering students through language enrichment. Following the official function, ELEP students presented a lively activity session showcasing their language skills, creativity and confidence, which was well received by the audience. The function concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dimple Davis, ELEP ResourceTeacher, who expressed gratitude to all the guests, teachers and participants for making the event a grand success. The inaugural function marked a vibrant beginning for the ELEP at GHS Beenachi, promising a journey of learning, growth and communication excellence for the students. | |||
