TRAVELOGUE: MY TRIP TO ATHIRAPPALLY Travel and change of place impart new vigour to the mind"- Seneca. One of the finest and most satisfying adventurous of my life with my cousins to understand that "travelling leaves you speechless, then turns you into a story teller". The use of travelling is to regulate imagination by reality, and instead of thinking how things may be, to seem them as they are. Athirappalli is the most beautiful waterfall in Kerala. We left here at 7.00 on 28th December and there are 44 people. I was travelling with relatives for my first time. The best experience l had was from this trip. We arrived there at 9.00 .On the main entry to get to the waterfall area some distance from. It was a good turn and as we walked along the way of was a bit of blow. Lush trees on both sides, calm atmosphere and nice cool breeze. Walking down that path we got there. Rocks and clear water flowing over it. We all went there. For these you should close your eyes and hear the sound of that waterfall. It is a good vibe as there are no words to say. The sun was up after a while. Then we sat down under a tree and talked...talked for a while and then we went to Vazhachal. There also a nice atmosphere. There were some trees too. There was a good nostalgic feelings. The old trendy palm hut was there. The cottage among the trees was really beautiful. We spent some time there. After that we headed to the resort. Rest took some time and then we next returned to Thumboormozhi. The world renowned Athirappalli waterfall is the Thumboormozhi dam and hanging bridge. Tucked in a mystic forest of patch this lesser known wonder is a treasure of Thrissur district. Well l was terrified when l walked through the hanging bridge. But l had forgotten that fear enjoying the sound and beauty of the pleasing flow of clear water on both sides........ You must to go there once. It will be a good experience.
