ചരിത്രം
This prestigious institution, which was established in 1939, has played a vital role in empowering the people in and around Thiruvankulam Panchayath. The founder manager Shri. M.O. Ittoop who had a great vision of uplifting the downtrodden people of Irimpanam had to conflict with a lot of challenges for bringing up this school as the heart-throb of the people of Irimpanam. The foundation stone of this school was laid by Shri Ramavarma, the then educational officer of Kochi State. Started as a preparatory school in 1939, the school has developed into a Vocational Higher Secondary School in 2000.There are about 1200 students and 60 teachers in this school now. Located by the side of the sea port-air port road, the school is accessible to any one. 2008-ല്‍ത്തന്നെ സ്ക്കൂളില്‍ 200-ഓളം സിഡികളുള്ള മള്‍ട്ടി മീഡിയ തിയറ്റര്‍ സജ്ജമായി. തിരുവാങ്കുളം പഞ്ചായത്തിന്റെ സഹായത്തോടെയാണ് ഇത് സാധ്യമായത്. പി.ടി.എ യുടെ സഹകരണത്തോടെ കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് ചൂടാക്കിയ ശുദ്ധജലം ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള സൗരോര്‍ജ്ജ വാട്ടര്‍ ഹീറ്റര്‍ ആ വര്‍ഷം തന്നെ സ്ഥാപിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. 25-ല്‍ അധികം കംപ്യുട്ടറുകളുള്ള 2 കംപ്യൂട്ടര്‍ ലാബുകളും ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്.
