COVID 19 Corona virus disease covid-19 is infectious disease caused by a newly discovered corona virus. corona viruses are a group of related viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans corona viruses cause respiratory tract infection that can range from mild to lethal Most people infected with the covid-19 virus will experience mild-to-moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatments. Older people and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease diabetes chronic respiratory diseases , cancer etc are more likely to develop serious illness. The covid-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person cough or sneezes. The only way to get well is self immunity and cleanness. So we all should improve our immunity and cleanness. The first person in India, who died due to corona virus is from Karnataka - kalaburagi. In Kerala ,the first death reported from Cochin kalamassery. Basic protective measures against the new corona virus by World Health Organisation: Wash your hands frequently: Washing your hands with soap and water using alcohol based hand rub kills viruses. Maintain social distance: When someone cough or sneezes they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain corona virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets including covid-19. Avoid touching eye, nose and mouth :The virus can enter your body and can make one sick. Practice respiratory hygiene: Droplets spread virus. By following good respiratory hygiene you protect the people around you from viruses. If you have fever , cough and difficulty in breathing, seek medical care early. Stay informed and follow advises given by your health care providers.
