33 children have been registered in LKMS for the entrance exam for the new batch of 2024-27. In order to train them for the entrance exam, a WhatsApp group was formed by joining everyone and previous classes of the Victor's channel related to the exam and other training programs were conducted at the class level. Also a general class was given to all the children who had registered for the examination on Wednesday 12th June in the school. The test was conducted on a specially prepared software on the computer. The exam consisted of 20 questions of 30 minutes duration. Aptitude test had questions related to logic and reasoning, programming section, 5,6,7 questions based on ICT textbooks and IT general knowledge.32 children participated in Little Kites Aptitude Test held on 15th June 2024 and 24 passed the aptitude test. This year, admissions are going on for the 24 seats allotted to the school. Result uploaded in LKMS system. The exam included various questions in IT technology general knowledge, animation and programming sections. Aptitude test result came on 24th June. The result was printed and posted on the notice board. Class 8 students were informed.

SDPHS The Little Kites IT Club of the High School distributed KITE (Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education) identity cards to the students (2024_27 batch). Those who participate in all the activities of Little Kites, India's largest student IT association, will get an ID card. 24 children of the 2024_27 batch of SDP High School are the members of Little Kites IT Club. The formal distribution of the identity card was done by Headmaster EH Govindha Bhat. SITC sir Shashi kumar and Little Kites Master Pradeep were also present on the occasion.

Little Kites Preliminary Camp 2024

2024 - One day preliminary camp for children of 24 Little Kites Batch was conducted on 26/07/2024, friday. The class started at exactly 10 am. The class was conducted by Manjeshwara sub district Mater trainner PRIYA CH. The children were divided into 3 groups using words related to advanced technology in order to arouse children's curiosity in technology.

The one-day training is very important as the first meeting of the members.The main objective of this one-day training is to shed light on the diverse activities that each Little Kites will be involved in during the next two years. Activities in the camp were conductedin Different sessions. Such as group formation, Activities Quiz competition, LK Unit Discussion, Scratch Programming, Animation, Robotics , course briefing, responsibilities of Little Kites members. Then various activities were given on group basis and the groups were awarded points. Children were introduced to various topics like animation, Little Kites objectives, game using scratch three, robotics, etc. Kite master Pradeep k thanked everyone. The training program ended at exactly 2.30 o'clock. Little Kites Master Pradeep, and Little Kites Mistress Sowmya were also present on the occasion

ಶ್ರೀ ದುರ್ಗಾಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಿ ಪ್ರೌಢ ಶಾಲೆ ಧರ್ಮತ್ತಡ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 26/07/2024 ಶುಕ್ರವಾರದಂದು ಲಿಟ್ಲ್ ಕೈಟ್ಸ್ ನ 8ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ದಿನದ ಪ್ರಿಲಿಮಿನರಿ ತರಗತಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ಉಪ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಟ್ ಕೋ ಆರ್ಡಿನೇಟರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಟ್ರೈನರ್ ಆಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಸಿ ಯಚ್ ಅವರು ತರಗತಿಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಲಿಟ್ಲ್ ಕೈಟ್ಸ್ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವನ್ನು ಸವಿವರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಟೀಚರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಗುಂಪುಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ವಿವಿಧ ರೀತಿಯ ನೂತನ ಆಟ, ಆನಿಮೇಷನ್ , ಸ್ಕ್ರಾಚ್ , ರೋಬೋಟಿಕ್ಸ್ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಲಿಟ್ಲ್ ಕೈಟ್ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಲಿಟ್ಲ್ ಕೈಟ್ ಮಿಸ್ಟ್ರೆಸ್ ಸೌಮ್ಯ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

A meeting of parents of Little Kites children of 8th class was held on Friday 26/07/2024 at 2.30pm at IT Room. Manjeshwara sub district Mater trainner PRIYA CH took the class on what Little Kites is, its objectives, school activities and curriculum. This meeting helped to make the parents aware of the various activities of Little Kites Children's School. Kite master Pradeep k welcomed the camp which was Inaugurated by Head Master EH Govindha Bhat. The program was presided over by School Manager N Shankaranarayan Bhat. Senior assistant Shashikumar P congratulated. Little kite Mistress Sowmya M thanked everyone.

Arrangement of Hi-Tech Equipments

On 7/08/2024 at 9am, a class on high-tech equipment was held under the leadership of Kite master Pradeep. In this class v explained how to connect the computer and the projector, how to make the scene more clear and where to place the projector in general. The children took turns in groups and practiced connecting the projector with the help of the teachers.The children of this batch were given training. They visited all the classes in different groups. They evaluated the current equipment and its current condition and recorded it in notes. Special things to be reported were also reported to the lecturer. Every two months they visit the classes and report. Moreover, the children pay great attention to the high-tech equipment in the classes.Using and storing the device correctly.

Children of this batch along with the children of other batches came for the training and about 7 of them came to the lab to register. The children practiced taking their own photo using webcam, taking ID card photo and uploading it

Little Kites Routine Classes

Little's routine classes are conducted every Wednesday from 9am to 10am. The activities to be completed as per the module are also done on week days. Classes are held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month for Class VIII students. Activities related to high-tech equipment setup, graphic designing, animation, Kannada typing, media and documentation, and block programming are conducted in the 8th class.

Graphics designing

On 21-08-2024, the classes of Little Kites of 8th class started at 9 o'clock morning . In this class, the explanation was given about graphics design... The children were asked to discuss how to make brilliant pictures and why it is used... The children shared the prior knowledge that GIMP software should be used for this. Kite master Pradeep explained what layers are in GIMP and how to use them to adjust and avoid them. Inkscape software and Tupitube Dusk were introduced... With the help of the teacher, the children prepared excellent pictures.

Digital Flower Contest

As part of the Onam celebrations during the academic year 2024-25, the digital flower garden competition held at IT labs of our school on 12/09/2024. Children were made aware about the proposal. Various children participated in this competition. The competition was conducted at Little Kites Unit School using independent software such as TestPaint and GIMP to harness the potential of digital systems. Digital flower display was also conducted under the leadership of children.It was a new experience for children to make a flower garden on the computer. In SDP high School came alive with the vibrant spirit of Onam as students and staff celebrated this traditional South Indian festival

Animation 1

Little Kites class started on 11-09-2024 at 9o'clock.. The teachers evaluated the pictures prepared by the children in the previous classes... They discussed how to move these pictures. A child said that it is characteristic.. Classes continued by praising the child. Flip book that by changing the shape and position of the images and moving them quickly, animation is possible. Ampli teacher explained by showing a video Mp4. How to prepare frames, how to adjust the number of frames and how to adjust the speed of the film. After explaining these things well, we ended today's classes by giving a follow-up activity to make a small short film in the next class.

ittle kite classes started on 08-10-2024 at 9am. This was a class that explained how to make animation easily. Ambili teacher explained how to make animation with the help of tweening. The children completed the animation classes with the help of the teachers. Today's classes ended by giving guidelines to some groups and explaining how to prepare animation in other groups and clearing all the doubts of the animation class.

Kannada Typing_DIGITAL MAGAZINE

10-10-2024 In this class, the Kite master explained the importance of kannada letters for typing is possible on the computer. Kannada keyboard layout, how to type alphabets, various types of letters were introduced to the children. Since it was kannada typing, the children participated in the class with great interest. The fact that every child tried to type their name and address and was able to do so brought happiness to both the children and the teachers. 11-10-2024 In this class, the things required for preparing the magazine were explained.
