SURVIVING THE PANDEMIC Covid19 otherwise Corona virus has proved itself to be the most deadly contagious disease that the world ever witnessed. The virus was originated in the vet market of Wuhan in China. Initially the world neglected the virus as a Chinese virus. But the virus has reached to every nook and corner of the world, even the most secluded tribal communities in Amazon forest. Now the world has realized that practicing hygiene is inevitable .In this situation social distancing is as important as hygiene to get protected from the corona virus. Washing hands social distancing will break the chain of spreading of the virus. Other than China most affected countries are in the order of Italy, Iran ,Spain, France, England and now the USA. Every day the death toll is increasing and it is reached almost 1lakh. The world is in embarrassment , as now to tackle the pandemic. Comparing with developed countries India as a developing country is less affected by the covid19. Because of the effective preventive measures taken by our government. The government has declared lock down for 3 weeks and now it has been extended up to 5 weeks. The God 's own country Kerala is number one state to contain the spreading of this virus. Because of our high civic sense and the efficiency of health workers the chain of virus in Kerala is almost broken." Break the chain is our motto". Thanks to the measures taken by our government and the health workers who are ignoring their own life in this virus war. The other developed countries are amazed of at the effective measures taken by the Kerala government. By obeying the lock down rules ,changing lifestyles, concentrating on hygiene, keeping social distancing, to aware but not scared we can be successful in the battle against the novel corona virus and also conserve mother nature. Rather than making fun it is good to respect the police men and health workers and the government. Immunity must also be improved in this pandemic. So every one must stay secured and pray for everyone's sake. The lock down should not be eased as the pandemic killing thousands and thousands of people all over the world. We should change our lifestyle and the most important thing is obeying the rules installed by our government. Then let's hope better future for the humanity.
