Questions and Answers (COVID-19) questions and answers Covid -19 an extremely dangerous lung disease that had killed many of the people around the world. Covid-19 is the short form of corona virus disease 2019. This desiese had allredy spread over around 190 contries and take over the lifes of over 1 lakh people and got into over 17.5 lakhs of people's. USA is the biggest victim of this massive virus. Corona virus disease 2019 is said to be got outbreaked at last days of 2019 December at China in a town called wuhan.that was first time we saw this extremely dangerous lung disease. And spread very fastly to all over the world in about 3 to 4 months. So the question is what is corona? Corona viruses belong to a family known as Coronaviridae, and under an electron microscope they look like spiked rings. They're named for these spikes, which form a halo or "crown" (corona is Latin for crown) around their viral envelope.  Coronaviruses contain a single strand of RNA (as opposed to DNA, which is double-stranded) within the envelope and, as a virus, can't reproduce without getting inside living cells and hijacking their machinery. The spikes on the viral envelope help coronaviruses bind to cells, which gives them a way in, like blasting a door open with C4. Once inside, they turn the cell into a virus factory -- the RNA and some enzymes use the cell's molecular machinery to produce more viruses, which are then shipped out of the cell to infect other cells. Thus, the cycle starts anew. Typically, these types of viruses are found in animals ranging from livestock and household pets to wildlife such as bats. Some are responsible for disease, like the common cold. When they make the jump to humans, they can cause fever, respiratory illness and inflammation in the lungs. Next question is that How corona virus spread 1)if someone's hands are contaminated with this virus or touching contaminated surfaces. 2)A sneezing or coughing person will cover their mouth, get it all over their hand, and then touch something that you then touch and it get into their body 3)being near to an infected person when they sneze talk or by any activities the virus-containing particles land in your eyes, nose, or mouth, or if it they get on your hands and your rub any of those places on your face, you could possibly acquire the infection.  What are the defensive methods? 1)Avoid unwanted trip. Stay home 2)if going outside for urgent needs use face masks and do not touch on your face until you wash your hands 3) obey the government orders and practice social distance. Keep one meter distance from people 4)keep washing your hand So these are the common questions and answers. Now the world is looking for a survival from this virus. And as a malyalie I'm proud to say kerala is number one in world for survival.
