One day a man heard a nightingale singing."Oh what a beautiful and melodious voice he has! I must somehow catch it." So the man set a trap and soon caught the nightingale. "Now you shall sing for me whenever, I want to hear you, "said the man. "Oh no, you won't, "replied the nightingale, "dont you know nightingale never sing in captivity? I'll soon die in this cage." "In that case, I shall cook you and eat you", said the man.The nightingale said, "Please let me go and I shall tell you the three great truths of life." Feeling curious, the man set the nightingale free. "Now tell me the three great truths you promised, " said the man.The three great truths are.Never believe a promise which a captive makes. Keep what you already have.Never regret what you have lost."saying this the nightingale flew away.
