BAMBOO HOMES Once on the bank of a river, there lived three families who were farmers. They worked in farm. These families were very jealous at each other. Whenever they see good things on others, they will start fighting. These farmers children were also jealous of each other. The children had learned selfishness and the bad character taught by their parents. The children doesn’t have friends, because of the selfishness and the bad character taught by their parents. One day the farmers went to farm and the children went to school. One of the farmers child got first in the class. By hearing this the other farmer's child went home and told their parents about this. Then these parent got envy and went to the child’s parents and start fighting. When the teacher heard about this she questioned the child who fought with the child who got first. “She won first in the class because she had worked hard and she knew to keep friendship with others and to behave with others. This is the reason she won in the class. You all do not know how to behave with others and to keep friendship with others. She learned with her friends. She shared her knowledge. But you all showed your selfish character. Next day the vacation started for the children. One of the children went to field to help his parents by planting seeds and watering the plants. One of the farmers saw this and he called his child for helping him but the child did not agree . Seeds planted by the child had grown into give vegetables and fruits. They sold this in the shop and got money. Seeing this the other farmers family throw many waste and unwanted things to the other farm. All of them decided to built wall at the four sides of their farm made of big bamboos so that no one can see each other or destroy the farms. On the next day, onwards each of the famiIes have no difficulties from each other . They were not seeing each other. After few days they got bored .There were no one to talk. They faced many difficulties because of this. One night, when all went to sleep a big thunder occured. Suddenly one farmer woke up. He opened the door and saw a big flood flowing towards the farm. He called his neighbours, ie: his enemies .They all woke up and packed their dresses and necessary things. They forgot their enemity and together entered into the boat and reached a safe place. When they reached the place, they together went to find a new house for rent. They bought foods and sat together for lunch. They said sorry to each other . When the flood was over they reached their own place , together cleaned their houses and farm.Then they broke the walls around their farm which were built from jelousely These farmers built bomboo homes . The farmers worked together in the farms, the childrens together played and studied. The farmers wives together worked in home. They continued their living as one family .
