An Unexpected Nature Guest
She was sitting alone
In my window sill
Lonely as ever
Gazing into the pale
Blocks of concrete buildings
As if they were some unknown enchanted forest
Her voice was depressed
And in her usual dreadful voice
She sang softly
of her miseries and vows
Her feathers were withering..
And her dry pale skin
Proclaimed her past royal beauty
Her head once wore
A shiny brilliant crown
But now there wasn’t
A wink of gold in her
Head nor in her shattered mind
I was much curious
To know her past
To swam across her royal youth...
I swept across
My drowsy daisy vase
Towards my elegant visitor
To my wonder
Her robes still bore
clear refreshing drops of dew
It adorned her shattered piece of frock
Like glittered emeralds and all
In her miserable face
A hopeful mind
Was peering over and over
To find some glimpse
Of shattered greenery
And thou in her eyes
Those droplets were wandering
With her memories of past
She was there....
In her wonder castle of nature
With pillars filled with lush green leaves
And birds were there
Fluttering all way round
And Oh... There were springs
Gushing out from minute emerald fountains
And splashing water amid her throne
On its sides there were dozens of flowers
Resembling the castle of rainbow
And there were waterfalls
Hailing into the depths of the hells
Obviously presenting
The magical touch of nature
And all in a sudden..
Those images went pale
Lush green forest fell down wailing
And new concrete forests replaced them
Everything went blank
And again another single drop
Fell from those eyes of nature.
And with a gust
My visitor took a great gasp
And flew off to a world
With greenery and forest
She bid a silent farewell to me
And went silently towards a world
Without miseries..
