CONSERVATION OF ENVIRONMENT......... “We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us.When we see land as a community to which we belong,we may begin to use it with love and respect “- Aldo Leopold. The environment is a natural world that surrounds us.It can be a living or a non-living thing.The environment is very important for every living being.No one can survive without environment. Conservation is a state of harmony between men and land.It is very important to keep it clean in order to live healthy and peaceful life. But, nowadays people’s needs are increasing day by day and they are using available resources recklessly. The culture of over consumption is creating hurdles in the way of maintaining ecological balance - Science has conquered nature and nature is now being over exploited. Indiscriminate use of chemical fertilizers to increase productivity infact decreases the fertility of rich soil. The every day activities of human beings are constantly degrading the quality of the environment which ultimately results in the loss of survival condition from the earth. It is very important to explore the various types of pollution and all possible ways of the prevention in order to make our planet a safe place for the growth and development of all living things. Every person on our planet should take a little step to save our environment and we should reduce water wastage,save energy,use rechargeable batteries,reuse our old things in various ways and throw waste property to its place only. So,we must realise the gravity of the peril- we are living in dangerous times. We should avoid and ban all practices that endanger our ecological balance. Let all the nations work actively towards this goal.
