THE UNCROWNED PRINCE

Corona is the uncrowned
                                   prince
Fondly cristened covid 19;
While viewed from the mirror
Of my ungroomed perspective
He is a blessing in disguise
               I would say.

Along the path the royal tread
Not a place under the welkin's
                                            chin,
Where he hasn't sowed;
The seed of his revengeful
                    deed indeed

He hasn't forgotten to make
                 his silent steps
Into regimes where the sun
                          doesn't sink,
The nation that has led it's
              chariots day and night.

In him we found the fulfilment
Of the age old axion
'Death the leveller;'
The simple lesson of humility.

Forty days of quarantine
Purged the hearts and minds
                                     of gall
Friends and foes learned
            to live together
In harmony,love and mutual
                                          care
