Environment
Something that surrounds us,
Keeping us safe.
Something so full of life,
It teaches us how to behave,
By showing us the hard lessons of life,
And how that all things skin, can't be punctured by a knife-
Our Environment; so beautiful, so fierce.
With gentle flow of rivers, and harsh sounds that pierce.
Environment; sometimes a guardian, sometimes dangerous as hell,
With mysteries so deep and great, upon which people's minds wish to dwell.
Our environment, creates an ecstasy
of a feeling, being so beautiful and at the same time cruel,
as it enforces people's working minds to go crazy,
sadly though by trying to find a way to turn it into some kind of fuel.
Oh how selfish we've become !
To use nature only for our own good.
Because we are ready to kill innocent lives,
if they'll give us our food.
"All is for the development" we say,
But in reality, what is 'development' ?
Using other substances and resources to find a way
to satisfy only us humans' greed ?
Is 'development' the name of
Cutting down forests to create houses of our own,
And depriving the thus homeless animals,
Off the only way of living they've ever known ?
What is development ? Using fellow human beings
As a shelter to our own crimes,
that karma is to soon come and payback ?
To slave someone inferior to us in power,
To make a better living for those who already have enough ?
Is development making life insufferable
For other creatures that exist on earth,
To such a point that they are forced to come down to
Cities and villages, asking back their homes ?
Oh it is when we overlook nature's warnings
And continue our torture,That the environment we lives in fire-backs,
Taking away our future.
Floods, forest fires, earthquakes,
What is next ?
How long will we ignore these warning signs,
when will we stop hurting all the rest ?
And no 'one' alone, can help solve this situation;
We all standing in 'union' have to lead it into stabilization.
Because remember,
Nature's 'anger',
is only one letter away from 'danger' .
So let's save our environment,
While we still can !
