Importance of agriculture in present situation IMPORTANCE OF AGRICULTURE IN PRESENT SITUATION Agriculture sector plays important role in human life as well as in indian economy. Most of the people's earning depends on agriculture. Nowadays a big tragedy named Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has stucked our country and neighbouring countries. Lockdown till may 3rd was announced by our prime minister to control the level of disease spreading very fastly through human beings. During this time mainly we are facing the problem of food shortage. Due to social distancing farmers are unable to cultivate crops. Because of this reason we can't get enough diet to fulfil our daily needs. In present situation many number of poor people are dying from hunger. They don't get enough food because hey don't have money to buy food products. There will be no shortage of food if we had cultivated food crops in our houses and also in our surroundings. There are many types of farming which we can do in our home easily. Some of these are Terrace farming, Vertical farming, Hydroponic farming and Aeroponic farming etc. Today we are understanding the importance of agriculture in our life. However the government of India is coming us with a lot of measures to prevent food shortage during coronalockdown and encouraging farmers to continue their farming assuring stable agricultural markets and logistics. Let's hope this lockdown will not affect food security in the country.
