The inaguration of the English club was held on 30th june 2023. Divyalal Teacher compere the whole event. The welcome speech was by Gowri Akbar of XB. Presidential Address was delivered by Preethy Ummachan Teacher . The function was inaugurated by our beloved Principal Reshmi Teacher. The inauguration was done by lighting the candle and the brightness of the lighted candle was spread to each members of the club by lighting the candle that they held.The felicitation speech was given by Nisha Teacher, Jayalal Sir and Deepa Teacher respectively.Logo was presented and prepared by Kalidas from X B. Amrutha from 9 B Entertained us with an awesome English song. The function winded up by the vote of thanks by Sreekkutty Teacher. Around Eighty members are there in the club. Our aim and intention is to evolve a student who mastered all the skills of English. We are planning various competitions like Essay writing, Short story writing, poem writing, speech, spelling bee etc.
English club -" Blooming Buds"
The title name of the English club is" Blooming Buds" the club is formed to enhance the creative skills and talents of students. Various activities were conducted from the day the club has been formed. The past four years from 2018 to 2021 were the years English club did many exciting creative language building programs even though we went through a pandemic period.
Every students were participating in the club very actively. This day we are proud to say that we achieve 2nd prize in the role play conducted sub-district wise. Other than role play many more items like seminar on the conservation of nature based on the lesson "climate change is not hysteria-it's a fact" which was performed by std lX students.
Speech on Nobility of Service based on the lesson "Tolstoy Farm" was conducted by IX std students. Drama based on the lesson "Never Never Nest" was performed with all energy and activeness.
. Recitation of the poem "Taj Mahal" of std VIII was done showing out the students skill in reading poems with proper rhythm and rhyme . Debate based on success of movies which was filmed using modern technology and those movies which were not made modern gadgets were also conducted. I'm so happy to say that the English club is performing with active participation from the side of all the students.
