EARTH BELONGS TO ALL Ishan is very fond of animals. One day, while strolling the pond near his house, he saw a bird. Her eyes were filled with tears. "What's wrong?", he asked. The bird flew to her nest. Ishan followed the bird and was horrified at what he saw there. A small newborn bird, dead, with something sticking out of its mouth. Ishan took a closer look at it, while the mother bird looked at her baby, heavy-heartedly. "Plastic!!", he yelled, and slowly took it out of the baby bird's mouth. He glanced at the pond. People were dumping waste there. He felt really really angry then. He waved good bye to the bird and rushed to his friends. He told them about the situation and together they cleaned up the pond. Ishan went back to his home and called all the neighbours. He told them, " Earth is precious. It belongs to everyone living on it. We must not take the earth for granted. So it's better late than never to change it. If we try, we can save the nature, for us.. for the future..". Everyone was touched by his words. They all got together and planted the most beautiful garden near the pond one could imagine. Ishan and his friends took the old people for walks in the garden. They felt happy and remained healthy and strong. So my dear friends.. We can be like them too. We can stop the usage of plastics, we can plant more trees, we can use bicycle to travel and many more. Friends.. we, the children can make the world beautiful and a better place to live in.
