Today we are facing a lot of difficulties in our society due to a virus called covid-19 which had been a threat to the world. What we need is personal hygiene and awareness. Today people give importance to their work not health.

"Prevention is better than cure".

To prevent diseases we need a good environment and strong immune system. White blood cells plays a major role in maintaining immunity. They destroy pathogens through specific and non-specific defense mechanism.'Though people rise questions that if we have such a good immune system why diseases come again and again'? This depends on the strength of the immune system.

Personal hygiene is the other factor. If we are dirty the pathogens may easily enter our body. By maintaining hygiene we are not only protecting us but our family too. If you have a sneeze or cold just keep a handkerchief with you.

"Fever is not a disease but a symptom".

We people take a paracetamol when we are fever. Raising body temperature is one of the defense mechanism of the body. Fever might be the symptom of any other disease. Vaccination is the other method to prevent diseases. Unfortunately there is no vaccine for covid-19.

Healthy ways to strengthen immune system:
● Eat a diet rich in fruits and vegetables.
● Don't smoke.
● Excersise regularly.
● Maintain a healthy weight
● Get a adequate sleep.
How to maintain personal hygiene:
● Bath regularly.
● Trim your nails
● Wash your hands
Foods which provide a strong immune system:
● Broccolli
● Citrus fruits
● Garlic
● Ginger
● Spinach
● Red bell peppers
