Importance of English English is a global language. It is used by several countries all over the world. Before independence it was the official language of India. The medium of instruction in a good number of Indian schools is English. English language has a very important role to play in India. No Indian language can hold the country together at English. It is the inter-state medium of communication. English being an international language cannot be ignored. It is necessary to find jobs in foreign countries. Mother tongue is our first language. Language is culture. If mother tongue is not given it's right place it will alter our cultural pattern. The result will be disastrous. Of late, the trend has been in this direction and this is to be reversed.
