 Govt Vocational Higher Secondary school, Nedumangad is located at Mancha ward under Nedumangad municipality in Thiruvananthapuram revenue district. It is one of the oldest schools in Attingal educational district.Earlier it was part of the Girls Higher Secondary school which is now located at Nedumangad town. The concept of a school only for boys came true in the year 1968 under the hard task done by the MLA Sri.N N Pandarathil during that period. This school locates at the eastern part of our district especially famous  for tapioca cultivation.
 == ചരിത്രം ==
-There were about more than 2000 students in the beginning and during these decades   the number of students is very lesser in number. From 1992 onwards as per the work experience educational policy if our Government we started Vocational Higher Secondary sessions in MRRTV ,MRDA. In the year 2001 Govt gave permission to start Computer Application courses also.
+- ൽ ആരംഭിച്ച നെടുമങ്ങാട് മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റിയിലെ ആൺകുട്ടികൾക്ക് മാത്രമായുള്ള ഏക വിദ്യാലയം  6 ഏക്കറിനുള്ളിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു .സ്കൂളിൽ 8  മുതൽ 10  വരെ ഹൈ സ്കൂൾ വിഭാഗത്തിലും 11 -12  വി എച് എസ് ഇ വിഭാഗത്തിലും പഠിക്കുന്നുണ്ട് .പ്രഥമ അദ്ധ്യാപകന്റെ കാഴ്ചപ്പാടും നൂതന ആശയങ്ങളും പ്രവർത്തന ശൈലിയും അദ്ധ്യാപകരുടെ സന്നദ്ധതയും പി  റ്റി  എ , തദ്ദേശ സ്വയം ഭരണ സ്ഥാപനം എന്നിവയുടെ  സജീവമായ ഇടപെടലും കൊണ്ട് എസ് എസ് എൽ സി ക്ക്‌ തുടർച്ചയായ അഞ്ചു വർഷവും നൂറു ശതമാനം വിജയം നേടാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞു.
 == ഭൗതികസൗകര്യങ്ങള്‍ ==
 The total area of this school is 6.14 acres of land. A B.Ed training college is working along with us since last three years. Still we have enough property to start socially useful projects run by the Govt.
