+K.T. Rinsha
+Kozhikode: K.T. Rinsha, daughter of K.T. Kunhammad and Fousia Kunhammad, has bagged the INSPIRE Award (Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research) instituted by the Union Ministry of Science and Technology.
+The award is for children in classes VI to X and comprises a purse of Rs.5,000 and a citation.
+Rinsha took her class X examination as a student of KPES High School, Kayakkody. She is now a Plus One (science stream) student of National Higher Secondary School, Vattoli, Kozhikode. Rinsha, who secured A+ grade in all subjects in the SSLC examination, had also won a web designing competition held at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, in connection with State IT Fair this year.
+INSPIRE Awards is an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology to promote and inspire students to take up science and encourage genuine research at the school level. Under the scheme, the department will provide Rs.5,000 to regular students who intend to prepare science models/projects as part of their studies.<br>
