GLOBAL WARMING The rise in the average temperature of the Earth's climate system. It is a major aspect of the climate change. Global warming occurs when Carbondioxide and other gases and green house gases in the atmosphere absorb sunlight and solar radiation that have reflected from the Earth's surface. Consequences of global warming -Melting of polar ice caps -Sea level may rise as a result of melting of polar ice. -Destruction in the coastal ecosystem may lead to the problems such as food crisis, large scale migration etc. -Global warming leads to the depletion of many species of plants and animals in the ecosystem. Ways to control global warming The uncontrolled increase in the greenhouse gases causes the rise in temperature in the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases are reaching the atmosphere mostly through some human activities. Greenhouse gases enter atmosphere through natural means such as volcanic eruptions, decay of biological matter as well as through human activities such as deforestation, burning of fossil fuels etc. We can't completely avoid such activities but we can control it. Some if the ways to control warming is given below - plant trees as possible . -reduce the excessive use of fossil fuels. - before using fossil fuels ,remove sulphur compounds from them as far as possible. -recycle more. Etc. Global warming is real, caused by humanity and serious. This will affect our earth and living beings so save our earth and protect it.
