From Little Kites to Code and Creation: My Journey with Technology

Back in 2018, at SNDPHSS Chenneerkara, my journey with technology truly began. I became a member of the Little Kites Computer Club during that period. It was one of the key reasons my interest in computers grew stronger.
Little Kites introduced me to the creative side of technology. I worked on animation, video editing, and other digital tools. These activities helped me understand computers beyond textbooks. They made learning practical and exciting.
I also served as the Little Kites Student Leader during my time in the club. This role helped me develop confidence and leadership skills. Our school guide, Anju Teacher, supported us throughout the journey. I also received valuable training from Blessy Teacher. Her guidance helped me improve both technically and creatively.
Little Kites gave me early exposure to tools, software, and digital workflows. It helped me become comfortable with technology at a young stage. The foundation built during school played a major role in shaping my future path.
Today, I am pursuing an Integrated MTech, with a focus on programming, software development, and machine learning. Even though I worked more on creative tasks during school days, those experiences helped me adapt easily to technical fields. I have completed multiple projects and internships. I am currently in my fourth year of the program.
Looking back, I clearly see where it all started. My school and the Little Kites program played a vital role in shaping my interests and career direction. The lessons I learned there continue to guide me even today.
I proudly say that I am a product of Little Kites. My school did more than teach academics. It gave me confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for the future.

From Little Kites to Software Development: My Learning Journey

I was part of the Little Kites Computer Club during the 2018–20 batch at SNDP HSS Chenneerkara. My time in the club helped me build a strong base in computers and technology.
Through Little Kites, I became familiar with basic computer concepts and digital tools. The sessions helped me understand how technology works. They also gave me confidence to explore more in this field.
Little Kites played an important role in shaping my interest in technology. It helped me develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills. The guidance from teachers and the learning environment at school supported my growth.
Today, I am pursuing my studies in software development. The fundamentals I learned during my school days continue to help me. The exposure I received through Little Kites made my transition into this field smoother.
Looking back, I see Little Kites as the starting point of my journey. It gave me clarity, confidence, and a strong foundation.

From a Village Classroom to Creative Confidence: My Little Kites Journey

From a small village classroom to a broader world of creativity and confidence, my experience as a Little Kites cadet played a significant role in shaping my personal and academic growth. The program introduced me to animation, photography, video editing, and creative technology at an early stage. This exposure was both rare and transformative.
Practical experiences such as using a DSLR, creating magazines, and producing short films strengthened my technical abilities. They also improved my teamwork and communication skills. These competencies continue to support my active involvement in college events and academic projects.
Little Kites was more than an initiative. It was a defining milestone in my journey. I extend my best wishes to all current Little Kites cadets for a meaningful journey of learning and discovery.
