Towards More Heights..
Passed so many roads so far
A good number of people in the long journey l met
Sometimes l was filled with joy
And at some other times with excitement
I also fell into the deep void of grief and despair
I surrendered to all emotions like an immature child
Still l couldn't embrace any of these as my own
As they cunningly evaded me quite often
Thrusting varied wave motions within my mind
Those who l kept close to my bosom
Others to whom l unfastened my inner veils
A few others l coveted to follow
And yet some others held in high esteem
Nobody giveback complacence to my soul
Subdued by too sensitive a heart
With insisting out dare to stand for right
Was much mistaken , get thrown by sharp stones
For the truths are not to be uncovered
A truth which l too delayed to realise...!!!
Frailities , follies , emotional outrages , inhibitions
All palpitated only to get no where
Than to more bafflement and complexities
In the fret and fever of these ignoble strifes
I occasionally forgot to be complaisant to others
My hobbies , likings , hang outs or even worldly pursuits
Couldnt bringforth solace to my incomplete soul
Amidst the never ending bustling life
In the midst of never changing people around
I was taken aback and felt asphyxiated
My unquenchable heart had a longing
It might have expected someone or
something
To quench the thirst for that inexpressible lacking
A sweet fondling to pacify its vexatious state
A profound soothing to overwhelm all forebodings
Time drawn chariot of life moved forward
As sunlight pierce through the deep darkness
The great revelation penetrated my inner core
It melted away the frozen snowflakes of all my fears
And filled with an unbeatable strength to proceed
A heavenly mystery , providing inexplicable mirth
Which l wish to sustain in all its holy secrecy
The real completion my imperfect soul awaits
Substituted by nothing , His never forsaking love prevails
The fidelity in promise , unbreakable , dares me
To walk through the valley of shadow of death
As soon go kindle fire with cooling snow
His compassionate presence recovers me when l am lost
If my God is for me , who can stand against me ?
