Cleanliness is the way to be Healthy, Wealthy and Wise One evening ,after playing Jack came to his house. His mother advice him to take bath, but he doesn't heed to her. The next day Arun and John came to Jack's house. They saw Jack lying on the bed and their neighbour , Dr. Joseph who was a physician treating Jack."Auntie, what happened to Jack? "Arun asked. She replied "He fell ill after he came home from the park last evening ". "Do you know why he fell ill ?"Dr.asked.He continued, "It is because of the lack of cleanliness. You know our society is very dirty especially the park . There is garbage everywhere, old tyres and plastic bottles are discarded in every nook and corner. It is a perfect environment for germs to thrive. These germs enter your body and causes diseases ". John said" But doctor, the park is the only open space that we get to play. If we cannot play there, Where else can we go?" ."Dear, you guys must be aware of your surroundings and about the ways of getting diseases. So after your play you must wash your hands and legs very well. Use soap and sanitizer.The germs get killed while you wash with soap" doctor answerd. "You are right Doctor ".Jack's mom said "Nowadays, our area is been affected by various diseases . This is because of lack of cleanliness." The next day Arun and John discussed the matter of garbage issue and about being hygiene among his friends. Arun said "Since the adults don't seem to have the time, it is up to us to do something to cleanup our society otherwise we will not be able to play without our parents worrying about falling us ill". "You are right Arun ,we should Stand Together to keep our environment clean".Meena said. The students organisations of their school like scout and guide, Red Cross and a team of little kites decided to clean the premises and to make aware of public about being hygiene. The next day they started cleaning the school premises the residential area and the near park. They placed dustbin every few metres and signs asking the residents to keep the society clean. The students conduct short film ,debate and other activities to make the public aware about causing diseases due to lack of cleanliness. John and team conducted a drama expressing the idea of effective hand washing techniques that can prevent the spread of diseases.
