Cleanliness Cleanliness is a habit or state of keeping ourselves and our surroundings clean and free from dirt. Cleanliness helps us to lead a healthy life. Cleanliness isn’t someone else’s responsibility. It is our responsibility to maintain cleanliness. Maintaining cleanliness should start from our homes. It is not a one day activity.It should be done everyday. Cleanliness helps in avoiding diseases and has many positive effects on health, our life and our environment. Cleanliness plays a major role in increasing physical and mental strength. A clean environment gives us a healthy and stress less life. It is the virtue of life . Cleanliness and personal hygiene should be a part of the life of a student. It’s importance can never be denied. It strengthens our faith, determination and intuition. It is essential for good health. The growth of disease causing bacteria,flies, mosquitoes e.t.c increase in an unclean condition and environment. The importance of cleanliness must be taught to children at an early age. Cleanliness is not only a good habit but also affects the inner beauty and personality of a person. Many threatening diseases are caused due to the lack of cleanliness in our home and surroundings. With proper cleanliness and hygiene all these diseases can be kept at bay for a healthy living. A clean and well maintained person will always succeed against all hardship. It also helps to be socially fit. Social relationships are made by maintaining personal hygiene is the most important factor of creating a good picture of us in the society. India Govt. Take initiative in programs like Swatch Bharat has led a way to a clean India. It is our responsibility to keep ourselves and our surroundings neat and tidy to lead a healthy life.
