Coronavirus are the largest RNA viruses They infect humans and animals in which they cause respiratory and enteric diseases.Corona viruses cause about one third of "common colds" and the newly recognized severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) In humans the major site of virus replication is the epithelial cells of the respiratory tract about one third of the colds are caused by corona viruses.
The symptoms are runny nose, sore throat, cough, headache, fever, chills

Incubation period : 2 to 14 days
Transmission is by transfer of nasal fluids such as aerosols caused by sneezes
