AN ENVIRONMENT STORY Harjith, Marry, Hasan and Deepa are friends. They live in the same colony. They like playing together. There is a big tree behind Deepa's house. The children play under the tree. They love the tree. One day Deepa saw some people standing near the tree "sir what are you doing? "Deepa asked them. "We need wood. We will cut this tree"said the man. "But this is our tree "said Deepa"you cannot cut it". "Go away child "said the man. Then he turn to the other two men and said"lets bring the truck". Deepa called up her friends. They ran to the tree. Deepa had an idea. She told to the friends about it. The men came back and he find that Deepa and her friends had formed a chain around the tree. "Go away! We will not let you cut our tree"they said. The men tried to break the chain but they couldn't. Children began to shout. The men got stared and ran away.
