Little Kites Aptitude Test 2022

* 35 students appeared for aptitude test to get admission in 2022-25 batch. 24 children got membership.Little Kites School Camp 2022-25 Batch

The test was conducted on a specially prepared software on the computer. The exam consisted of 20 questions of 30 minutes duration. Aptitude test had questions related to logic and reasoning, programming section, 5,6,7 questions based on ICT textbooks and IT general knowledge.
2022- 25 Little Kites Aptitude Test Aptitude test for selection of students for new batch was conducted at on IT Lab under the instruction of Kite for the pre-registered students. Uploading of exam related files was done on time. Aptitude Test conducted by Kite Master PRADEEP K Kite Mistress SOWMYA M with the help of SITC Shashi Kumar sir.The result was printed and posted on the notice board. Class 8 students were informed.

Distribution of Identity Card to Little Kites Members SDPHS The Little Kites IT Club of the High School distributed KITE (Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education) identity cards to the students (2022_25 batch). Those who participate in all the activities of Little Kites, India's largest student IT association, will get an ID card. 24 children of the 2022_25 batch of SDP High School are the members of Little Kites IT Club. The formal distribution of the identity card was done by Headmaster EH Govindha Bhat. Little Kites Master Pradeep, and Little Kites Mistress Sowmya were also present on the said occasion

LITTLE KITS PRELIMINARY CAMP 2022 One day preliminary camp of little kites batch 2023-26 was conducted on 17/09/2022, saturday at it lab. The class started at exactly 9.30am. Kite master Pradeep k welcomed the camp which was Inaugurated by School Manager N Shankaranarayan Bhat which was held with the aim of conveying the importance of Little Kites to the children.Senior assistant Shashikumar P congratulated. The Class was conducted by kite master of Pradeep k sir who received special training from kite. Little kite Mistress Sowmya M thanked everyone. The children were divided into 4 groups using words related to advanced technology in order to arouse children's curiosity in technology. Then various activities were given on group basis and the groups were awarded points. Children were introduced to various topics like animation, little kites objectives, game using scratch three, robotics, etc. Videos were screened to give an understanding of the impact of internet on daily life, the potential of information and communication technology and the relevance of the project. Through a video presentation, the children were introduced to technology-based devices used in daily life. Each section dealt with understanding the impact of advancements in the field of artificial intelligence. The basic understanding of the Little Kites project was imparted to the students through the preliminary camp. The training program ended at exactly four o'clock.

Little Kites Routine Classes Little's routine classes are conducted every Wednesday from 4 pm to 5 pm. The activities to be completed as per the module are also done on Saturdays which are not working days. Classes are held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month for Class VIII students. Activities related to high-tech equipment setup, graphic designing, animation, Malayalam computing, media and documentation, and block programming are conducted in the 8th class.

Arrangement of Hi-Tech Equipments On 22/06/2022 at 4 pm, a class on high-tech equipment was held under the leadership of Kite master Pradeep. In this class v explained how to connect the computer and the projector, how to make the scene more clear and where to place the projector in general. The children took turns in groups and practiced connecting the projector with the help of the teachers. Teacher Sowmya explained how to ensure internet connectivity and how to reset applications.... A class related to awareness about fake news was embedded in YouTube-kite Victors channel and it was followed up to be displayed in each class under the leadership of LK children..

Graphics designing On 29/06/2022 the classes of Little Kites of 8th class started at four o'clock. In this class, the explanation was given about graphics design... The children were asked to discuss how to make brilliant pictures and why it is used... The children shared the prior knowledge that GIMP software should be used for this. Kite master Pradeep explained what layers are in GIMP and how to use them to adjust and avoid them. Inkscape software and Tupitube Dusk were introduced... With the help of the teacher, the children prepared excellent pictures.

Animation Little Kites class started on 6/07/2022 at four o'clock.. The teachers evaluated the pictures prepared by the children in the previous classes... They discussed how to move these pictures. Flip book that by changing the shape and position of the images and moving them quickly, animation is possible. Sowmya teacher explained by showing a video Mp4. How to prepare frames, how to adjust the number of frames and how to adjust the speed of the film. After explaining these things well, we ended today's classes by giving a follow-up activity to make a small short film in the next class. Little kite classes started on 8-07-2022 at 4 pm. This was a class that explained how to make animation easily. Kite master Pradeep explained how to make animation with the help of tweening. The children completed the animation classes with the help of the teachers. Today's classes ended by giving guidelines to some groups and explaining how to prepare animation in other groups and clearing all the doubts in the animation class.

Kannada Typing 07-09-2022 In this class, the teacher Sowmya explained the importance of kannada letters for typing is possible on the computer. Kannada keyboard layout, how to type alphabets, various types of letters were introduced to the children. Since it was kannada typing, the children participated in the class with great interest. The fact that every child tried to type their name and address and was able to do so brought happiness to both the children and the teachers. 14-09-2022 In this class, the things required for preparing the magazine were explained. Media and Documentation Training On Saturday, December 24, 2022, 8th graders who are members of Little Kites at SDP high school were given media and documentation training in news writing, news filming, capturing images using DSLR cameras, adding those images to the computer, video editing using KDyn Live, audio recording using Audacity, and then In this training, the children learned to complete the video documentation by incorporating these files. Artificial Intelligence On 29-7-2023, the class was given on Artificial Intelligence. Little Kites School Camp 2023 SDP High School, Kasaragod Education District conducted a one-day school camp for the LittleKites of 2022-25 batch on Saturday 1st September. LK Sub District Camp 2023 Little Kites IT Clubs sub district level two day association camp was held on 27th and 28^th December. More than 100 children selected from various schools in the camp held at at GHS Udayawar and were trained in programming and animation.
