ചരിത്രം
1909 ഫെബ്രുവരിയില്‍ സ്കൂള്‍ ആരംഭിചു.1909- ല്‍ അന്നത്തെ കൊച്ചി ഗവണ്മെണ്ട് എരുമപ്പെട്ടിയില്‍ ഒരു പ്രോവര്‍തി ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പ്രൈമറി സ്കൂള്‍ തുടങങ്ങിയതായി രേഖകള്‍ ഉണ്ട്.അന്ന് ശിശു ക്ലാസ്, ഒന്നാം ക്ലാസ്, രണ്ടാം ക്ലാസ് എന്നീ ക്ലാസുകള്‍ ഒരുമിചു തുടങ്ങുകയാണുണ്ടായത്. 1911 ജൂണില്‍ ഇത് ഒരു എ വി പി സ്കൂള്‍ ആയി മാറി. 1935ല്‍ ലോവര്‍ സെക്കന്‍ഡറി സ്കൂളായി ഉയര്‍ന്നു. 1946ല്‍ ശ്രീ നാരായണയ്യരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ നാലാം ഫോറം തുടങ്ങി ഹൈസ്കൂളായി മാറി. 1961ല്‍ എല്‍ പി , ഹൈസ്കൂള്‍ എന്നിങ്ങനെ വിഭജിച്ചു. 2000ല്‍ 2 സയന്‍സ് ബാച്ചും ഒരു ഹ്യുമാനിറ്റീസ് ബാച്ചുമായി ഹൈസ്കൂള്‍ 5 മുതല്‍ 12 വരെയുള്ള ഗവ.ഹയര്‍സെക്കണ്ടറി സ്കൂളായി ഉയര്‍ന്നു.SSA,RMSA ജില്ലാ പ‍‌ഞ്ചായത്ത്, MLA,MP ഫണ്ടുകള്‍,രക്ഷിതാക്കളും നാട്ടുകാരും നല്‍കുന്ന സ്കൂള്‍ വികസനഫണ്ട് എന്നിവ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് സ്കൂളിലെ ഭൗതിക സാഹചര്യങ്ങള്‍ ഒരുക്കുകയും പരിപാലിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു വരുന്നു.PTA,SMC,MPTA,SPG എന്നീ സ്കൂള്‍ സഹായകസംഘങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനവും വിവിധ രാഷ് ട്രീയ സാമൂഹ്യ രംഗത്തെ നേതാക്കളുടെ സഹകരണവും ഈ സ്കൂളിന്‍െറ വളര്‍ച്ചക്ക് സഹായിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു
ഭൗതികസൗകര്യങ്ങള്‍
ഭൗതിക സാഹചര്യങ്ങളില്‍ഏറെക്കുറെ സ്വയം പര്യാപ്തമാണ്. പ്രാഥമികാവശ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ള സൗകര്യങ്ങളും കുടിവെള്ളത്തിന്റെ ലഭ്യതയും ഇവിടെ ഇപ്പോള്‍ ധാരാളമായുണ്ട്.
ഹൈസ്കൂളിനും ഹയര്‍സെക്കണ്ടറിക്കും വെവ്വേറെ കമ്പ്യൂട്ടര്‍ ലാബുകളുണ്ട്. മൂന്ന് ലാബുകളിലുമായി ഏകദേശം 35 കമ്പ്യൂട്ടറുകളുണ്ട്. ലാബുകളില്‍ ബ്രോഡ്ബാന്റ് ഇന്റര്‍നെറ്റ് സൗകര്യം ലഭ്യമാണ്.

ENGLISH CLUB
The English club aims to create a fondness for language among students and enhance their literary skills.A variety of programmes were conducted in the school a part of English language and development .Last year an exibition 'Lingua Franca' was orgnised by the students and teachers, which was memorable event in this school.Such events promotes indipendent thinking skills and imbibes a sense of confidence in students.
This year ,English Club was inaugrated on July 11/2016.A meeting was held in the T Hall with the participation of the English Club members members.A secretary and eleven members executive committee was selected from different classes.Sambath of X D was elected as the secretary of the club.Prizes were distributed for reading and handwriting competitions held earlier month.
Elocution and shortstory writing competition was conducted in the month of August.A reading week was observed in conection to the Reaing Day.English assembly was conducted by the students of the X'th standard.There is 'Uchabhashini' in the school at noon time.It was decide that some classes wuold make their presentations in English.Winners of the literary competitions held in the school were given prizes inthe school asembly.
Our students also participated in the various literary competitions organised by Hawa Institute, Marathmcode.Marva Usman (X F) won the First position for the English Essay Writing.Shifana N M (X F) and Sivani (VIII F) secured the First and Second position in English Shortstory writing .Risni secured the second position in Poem Recitation.Our students also won the secured position for Role Play competition held in Sikshak Sadan Chavakkad conducted by DEO.We also had student participation in 'Fiesta' organised District Centre for English, Thrissur.
