ASPIRE: Aquisition of Simple Productive Inspiring Rhythm in English

Aims : Gives life oriented classes, handle language effortlessly, povides more freedom to children

1. To get exposure in English

2. To develop creativity, competency and to enhance communication skill

3. To get a platform for performance based activities

4. To get a chance for socialisation of pupils as well as teachers

5. To enrich teachers professionally

It is a joint venture of General Education Department, Diet PKD and School English club

Aspire English club for the academic year 2021-22 was formed on june . The faculties of the english department are the pioneers of the club. The club selected pavithra of 9.A as the president and Niranjana .R of 9.B as its secretary . The club decided to schedule its activities on a monthly basis( online) with regards to the special days of the respective months.

Environment Day 05-06-2022

Elocution competition in connection with World Environment Day was conducted under the auspices of the English club. Most of the students, who participated in the programme were from eighth standard and their performance was good. The competition was helpful to know about our talented students.

"ASPIRE " English club 22-06-2022

      ASPIRE  English club  for the academic year 2022-2023 was formed on 22/6/2022.  The club consists of 50 Students.  The club will be  inaugurated along with the Inauguration  of Literary Association  in our school.  As part of the formation of the club , Thirupathi of 9th B  was selected as the  President of the club and Sujithra of 8C as Secretary.  Members were given opportunity to introduce themselves.  Teachers of English  Department  informed the students about the programmes and competitions of the club to be held and ensured their active participation.  It is decided to conduct competitions like  recitation,  essay writing, story writing,  versification  etc.

Recitation competition 01/07/2022

Aspire English club conducted recitation competition on 1/7/2022.Nine students from 8th 9th and 10th classes participated in the competition .All the students actively participated and performed well.

Aspire English club conducted drawing competition on 27/7/2022.Twenty two students from 8th 9th and 10th classes enthusiastically participated in the event. The theme chosen for the competition was textbook oriented. The colour patterns they Used were really pleasing. The competition was so competitive and we had a difficult time in selecting the winners. ENGLISH ASSEMBLY 01-08-2022

English Assembly was conducted in the auspices of "ASPIRE ENGLISH CLUB " on 1st August 2022. Assembly commenced at 9.55 am with a prayer . Gopika of 8C gave a warm welcome to the HM, Teachers and students . The assembly included various interesting programmes , which encourage the students to develop their skills in English language. Prayer was followed by PLEDGE by Dasarath of 10th E . Vishnu of 9th D read the quotes of some Eminent Personalities as Thought for the Day .Saranya of 10th C gave a brief description of William Words worth, who is known as the "Poet of Nature ". Akshaya of 8C presented important facts about English language , which helped the students to know more about English language. Pavithra of 10th A read News paper headlines. HM gave away prizes to the winners in Elocution, Recitation and Drawing competition held by the English club .
