Cleanliness Cleanliness is next to Godliness is a most famous proverb which means cleanliness lead the way to godliness. Through the practice of proper cleanliness, we can keep ourselves physically clean and mentally good which really make us civilized and healthy human being. Cleanliness brings us physically and mentally good feelings and thus good impression on others. It shows clean character of a person through clean dress, activity and personality. Cleanliness will change a person to good character by keeping body, mind and thoughts peaceful. In our country everyone needs to know the importance of cleanliness and hygiene. Various diseases caused due to the lack of awareness to cleanliness and hygiene. The above said proverb highlights the importance of cleanliness in our lives and inspires us to follow the clean habits in our life. Cleanliness is not meaning only to keep us clean physically, but it to keep mentally also clean by maintaining positive thoughts. Cleanliness is the way to godliness which means maintaining cleanliness and thinking good thoughts bring a person more near to the God. Being clean is very important for getting a good health and living moral life. A clean body makes us healthy and away from doctors because of good health which will save us from medical expenses and time loss. Cleanliness is very necessary to maintain our healthy lifestyle and standard of living. It plays a great role in making a person popular. Even if a person is well educated, if he does not maintain a good habit of hygiene and cleanliness, he will not be reputed by the public. Good character of a person is assessed by the clean dress and good manners in the beginning. Cleanliness of body and mind improves the self-respect of any person. The saying ‘First impression is the best impression’ tells us the importance of personal cleanliness and appearance where it is very important if you appear for an interview or a public stage competition. Clean dress and body will increase even your beauty by physically and it will boost your mental confidence level. Remember that self confidence is a must factor for a successful life. India government knows the importance of hygiene and various program and civil laws has been implemented in order to promote the awareness about cleanliness among the common public. Building toilets in houses and for public, cleaning river Ganga and recently washing hands and using face mask in public to prevent Corona virus etc. are some of them. Few days before there is a new law implemented that, spiting in public place is punishable by fine in India, which is an excellent order of India government. Also we have to go back to our previous habit of folded hand when addressing someone instead of shake hands which is nowwidely accepted by the whole world focusing on Corona virus spread. We should acquire the clean habits from our childhood and follow throughout the entire life which may even increase your life time. Cleanliness is the responsibility of everyone and they need to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of their surroundings and themselves. Being clean is very important for getting a good health and living moral life. A person needs to maintain cleanliness in daily life, need to follow a strict discipline and certain principles in the life. People who become clean are generally religious and god-fearing in nature and never feel hate or jealous to others. Cleanliness is the act of keeping our body, mind, dress, home, surroundings and other work area neat and clean. We should bring cleanliness to our habits and remove dirty forever from everywhere as dirt is the mother which gives birth to various diseases. It is very important to avoid spreading diseases to the public. Dirty surrounding raises various diseases by bacteria, fungus, virus, mosquitoes and other insects etc. we have to take care about the waste of our daily life. Instead of throwing such waste near by the road, it should be disposed in the proper way without making any environment or public nuisance. It is the responsibility of everyone living in the house, community, society, country and the world. Also we have to educate or advise the people those who are doing dirty things or throwing waste in the public place, including spitting on the road or public place.
