VISION OF THE SOUL I was asleep in my bed Awake was my soul It roamed through the streets wandered through the woods It heard things horrible saw beloved , crying for life what was it ? Wondered my soul Something took over the world was it a giant or a beast ? It must be strong and colossal to defeat the great Man The men who took over the world those who dominated the nature those who overruled god’s creation was suffering great chaos My soul froze in terror abashed and horrified It was neither a beast nor a giant which doomed the entire world It was something small smaller than an ant smaller than the sand not even visible to our naked eye A virus gulped the human lives it made us in terror it showed us who we are it revealed the truth on us Not the sovereign to rule the land but god’s simplest creation Suddenly I awoke from the horrid dream and hoped for the pleasant future where men realises who he is and work together to resist these woes. നന്ദന. എ.പി 10 എസ്.കെ.വി.എച്ച്.എസ്.എസ്. നന്ദിയോട് പാലോട് ഉപജില്ല തിരുവനന്തപുരം അക്ഷരവൃക്ഷം പദ്ധതി, 2020 കവിത
