ഒരു തൈമാവിൻ തണലിലേക്കൊട്ടൊന്നു പുറകോട്ടു മെല്ലെ ഞാൻ യാത്രയാകെ, അവിടെ നുകർന്നൊരാ അക്ഷരത്തേനിന്റെ മധുരമെൻ നാവിലേക്കിറ്റുവീഴെ, തിരികെ വിളിക്കുന്ന തണലാൽ തഴുകുന്ന പ്രിയമുള്ളൊരോർമയെൻ വിദ്യാലയം.. ഒരു കുഞ്ഞുകാറ്റിൻ്റെ കൈകളിൽ തെന്നി ഞാൻ പഴയൊരു പുസ്തകത്താളിൽ ചെല്ലെ, കുസൃതിയാൽ, കൊഞ്ചലാൽ കലപില കൂട്ടുന്ന വരികളിൽ തെല്ലൊന്നു ചേർന്നുനിൽക്കെ, പ്രിയമുള്ള നോവിൻ്റെ, ചുരൽപ്പഴത്തിൻറെ സ്മരണയായുണരുന്ന വിദ്യാലയം.. അവിടെയുണ്ടെന്നുമേ അറിവിന്റെ ദീപമായ് ഒരു കൂട്ടമധ്യാപകർ.

പ്രിയമാണെനിക്കെന്നുമേറെയാ കാലത്തി- നതിരുകൾ താണ്ടുന്ന ഓർമകളെ. തിരികെ വിളിക്കുവാൻ, മധുരമെന്നോതുവാൻ മറവിക്കു വിൽക്കാതെ കാത്തുവയ്ക്കാൻ.. എന്റെ അകതാരിൽ അണയാതെ കാക്കുന്ന തിരിനാളമാണെന്റെ വിദ്യാലയം..
