HISTORY OF OUR SCHOOL.

The prople of Tirur had been longing for an english Medium School for a long time. They approached His Excellency RT.Rev .Dr.Sebastian Vallopilly, the Bishop of tellicheri.His excellency requested the sisters of the Sacred Heart Congregation of malabar province to start at least a nursery school.The Sisters had to oblige the Bishop anf the result was the starting of Fathima Matha English Medium School on 16th june 1975. The school is greatly indebted to st.Mary's Church,Tirur for the help they extended on tiding over the initial difficulties. the Church provided accommodation for the school.

   Examination in march 1987.They came out with cent percent result. So far 22 batches followed the path of seniors. Our efforts rewarded in the year 2002-2003 by granding Higher Secondary Section witha a science batch. In the year 2003-2004 another science batch with Computer Science combination and during the year 2004-2005 a new commerce batch with Computer Application Were also sanctioned. May the Almighty God bless this institution to cntinue to serve the community to contribute substantially to quality education. the first batch

of Commerce group came out with 100%.

The continued education of the children remained a problem. By the combined efforts of the people and management, The Government of Kerala gave recognition to an unaided Lower Primary School in June 1983.The necessary sanction to open a high school with Upper Primary section was Obtained in the Year 1984.
