TREES ARE LIFE Once upon a time there was a beautiful forest . There lived two trees named Chintu and Pintu had many friends like the rabbit and his brothers, the group of monkeys , the family of birds , the bunky bear and the wise old wolf. One  day all the friends were chatting. Suddenly Pintu saw a woodcutter coming toward the forest. Pintu said ,Hey, look a woodcutter is coming towards the forest. Run!!Run!! But no one ran. They said you give us food , shelter and fresh air to breathe. How can we leave you alone in danger? OK you all hide behind us said the two brother trees. So the monkeys ,  birds and all the animals hid behind the trees. Woodcutter was very confused because there were many trees to cut. Suddenly he saw Chintu and Pintu. He decided to cut that huge trees. The wise old wolf had already told his plan to all animals . When the woodcutter came near the trees, the group of monkeys jumped on him , the family of birds started pecking him. Then the rabbit and his brothers jumping around him and bear started roaring. At that time old wolf ran to the lion king and informed about the danger. Lion reached at the spot with loud roaring. Hearing the sound the woodcutter frightened and escaped from there. Chintu and Pintu became very happy and convey their gratitude to all their friends. This incident brought a tremendous change in the life of woodcutter. After somedays two children named Chottu and Pinky visited the woodcutter to clarify some doubts regard forest and animals. He clarified their doubts and described the things which happened at the forest also. And finally he said Dear children the nature is totally different from before. Now a days men are very cruel towards nature. They are polluting the nature. Atlast he said Dear Children , I kindly request you to protect nature for next generation. The children agreed with that . They shared all these things to their parents and conduct some awareness class with the help of them. Through that way the children said to the society about the importance of protecting nature for us and future .... KRISHNA PRIYA R.
