CLEANLINESS AN IMPORTANT FACTOR It is said that "Cleanliness is next to Godliness". It is related to spirituality. Moreover one who is clean develop and is mentally strong. The habit of cleanliness should be taught to the children from the very childhood. The habits formed in early childhood will continue for rest of the life. Clean surroundings leads to good health. We all must have heard a good say "A healthy mind lives in a healthy body". Thus, a person who is clean develops a high intellect. We must practice habits related to personal hygiene such as washing hands and brushing teeth. It will help to keep bacteria, virus and illness away. Also, we can maintain cleanliness by not littering and not letting others to litter. Also we should not throw garbage here and there. We must dispose these in dustbins. Let me share a small story with you :- 'Once there lived a girl named Meenu. She had no friends. Her classmates teased and avoided her as she was ugly. She never combed her hair and the teeth were yellowish . She felt really sad and lonely. One day she told her mother about her sadness. The next day her mother solved her problem by combing her hair neatly and dressing her properly. When she got inside her classroom her classmates got surprised and asked her sorry and became good friends.' This story says that when she became clean and pretty her problems were solved. Now I conclude this topic by asking you all to maintain physical and spiritual cleanliness. By maintaining cleanliness we can show gratitude and respect towards our mother earth.
