Every time, a natural disaster occurs, we all are busy passing the blame on nature, when we know who the real culprit is. Feigning ignorance is never a solution. Even a small act of ours is a great act in this crucial period. Think about it, why construct a palatial two storey house, all with wood, just to make it look luxurious for a family of 3 or 4 ? Lots of trees are cut down to create furniture but no one cares to plant trees to make up for the loss. What we enjoy to the fullest, like oxygen, and other natural resources were gifted to us by our forefather’s. We shouldn’t be the ones to simply destroy, we have to protect the coming generation. It is said that, in the future we would face shortage for oxygen. The hard earned money, gold, fame or any luxuries of ours won’t be of any use. It can’t be helped if we don’t do the needful now. The trees, the seas, and the ground; these three elements are necessary for our existence, and there are still more parts of nature that we need to protect. Begin to conserve by making small changes to everyday routines. For example, use window light instead of turning on lights during the day, help to protect the quality of soil by composting or at least raise awareness about environmental conservation. Keep in mind, we need the nature, not the other way round.
