-Our Aided Senior Basic School Kuntikana is situated at Badiadka Grama Panchayath,Neerchal Village's ward no III.It is founded in 1950 AD.When there is no chance to study or to education of Kuntikana and surrounding area,the respected personalities like Kuntikana Late Shambhatta,his brother Late Sri Ganapathi Bhat and theire family donated theire own land to construct school.For their great work Late Sri Sarali Krishna Bhat,Late sri sarali Shankaranarayana Bhat,Late sri Kuntikana Mata D. Mahalinga Bhat Kerekodi and and others joined their hand.Due to the hard work of the people in june 1950 ADin the name of Kuntikana Shankaranarayana Aided Elementary Shool was founded.On 21/05/1951 this school was recognised by the Govt of Kerala and on 08/11/1964 the school was got Permanent recognition .Sri Kuntikana late Shambhatta become the founder Manager of the school.Late sri P.Mahalinga Bhat worked very hard for the development of the school.The school got recognition as Higher elementary school in 1955 AD.Then the schools name was changed as Aided Senior Baic School Kuntikana.From 1955 to 1957 AD sri Pandelu Mahalinga Bhat become the Headmaster of the school.Later up to 31/03/1976 Late sri K Venkatramana Bhat worked nicely as the Headmaster of this School.Till now arround 3300 pupils studied in this School and many students still studying and many working in different places,of our nation as well as out side of the nation..
