This prestigious institution, which was established in | This prestigious institution, which was established in 1940, has played a vital role in empowering the people in and around Thiruvankulam Panchayath. The founder manager Shri. M.O. Ittoop who had a great vision of uplifting the downtrodden people of Irimpanam had to conflict with a lot of challenges for bringing up this school as the heart-throb of the people of Irimpanam. The foundation stone of this school was laid by Shri Ramavarma, the then educational officer of Kochi State. Started as a preparatory school in 1939, the school has developed into a Vocational Higher Secondary School in 2000.There are about 1200 students and 60 teachers in this school now. Located by the side of the sea port-air port road, the school is accessible to any one.
