The English club has always been a forum to foster the best environment for creative thinking. The students exchange their thoughts, collaborate on their ideas and expand their vision. The club has helped the students to nourish and develop themselves as better individuals and has always been a supporting pillar for all their academic and non-academic needs..  this club shall remain as an example of how a collective forum can bring changes to the society.

The following are few among the various activities conducted by the English Club.

1. On June 5th, the world Environment Day was celebrated with its full essence by the English club. The students being aware of the importance of protecting and preserving our environment, planted tree saplings around their homes. These moments were captured and a collage of the same has been shared in our social media handle.

2. As part of the World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, on June 15th, the club members decided to bring an awareness to the fellow students, family and to the society, on remembering our duties to treat the elderly with dignity and respect. The members collectively created posters, drawings, poems, shared photographs with their grandparents, etc., and the same were shared to the public through the social media.

3. The members of the club on June 19th, honoured the father of the 'Library Movement in Kerala', the late P.N. Panicker. The day is celebrated as the National Reading Day, and as part of this, the English club conducted reading and public speaking competitions on the topic 'Importance of Reading' to bring an awareness of how reading can expose one to a whole different world of wisdom and knowledge. The winners were awarded prizes.

4. On behalf of the Independence day celebrations, on 15th of August, public speaking was hosted and conducted by the English club members. The winners were awarded certificates and prizes.

5. As a part of Teacher's Day on September  5, the English Club Members presented an Elocution to bestow  their gratitude to all the teacher's in the School.  All the Teacher's  were overwhelmed on hearing  this.

6. On October  2nd, Gandhi Jayanti. The English  Club Members as well as the teachers and non - teaching staff took the initiative to clean the school and the surroundings as a part of this day, in respect to our Father of the Nation. As he once said "when there is both inner and outer cleanliness, it approaches godliness".

In accordance  with the World Post Office Day on 9th October and National Post Day on 10th October, the English Club members organized a letter writing competition. More than thirty students were participated in the competition and the winners were given prizes. All the teachers appreciated the effort took by them.

7. A fancy dress competition  was organized  by the club members on 14 th November , Children's  Day, the birthday of our first Prime Minister , Jawahar lal Nehru. Students and teachers were all excited to see their  children  as Chachaajees.

8.As a part of World Aids Days, December  1, a poster making competition  was organized by the club members. Around 20 students participated in the competition . They created innovative  posters based on this day.

9. On January  12 th National Youth day. The Teacher Trainees were given an opportunity  to conduct  a conscientization programme on the topic of their choice. Three of them took the classes and the topic were

a) Influence of mobile phones among students, pros &cons.

  b ) Eye Exercises

  c )  Road Accidents.

The classess were very effective  and the topics were very relevant in the present scenario.

The English Club has always marked their presence on the Special  days and special occasions  as well.
