ENGLISH CLUB
The English club aims to create a fondness for language among students and enhance their literary skills.A variety of programmes were conducted in the school as part of English language and development .Last year an exhibition 'Lingua Franca', was organised by the students and teachers, which was a memorable event in this school.Such events promote independent thinking skills and imbibes a sense of confidence in students. This year ,English Club was inaugurated on July 11/2016. A meeting was held in the T Hall with the participation of the English Club members members.A secretary and eleven members executive committee was selected from different classes.Sambath of X D was elected as the secretary of the club.Prizes were distributed for reading and handwriting competitions held earlier month. Elocution and short story writing competition was conducted in the month of August.A reading week was observed in connection with Reading Day. English assembly was conducted by the students of the X'th standard.There is 'Uchabhashini' in the school at noon time. It was decided that some classes would make their presentations in English. Winners of the literary competitions held in the school were given prizes in the school assembly. Our students also participated in the various literary competitions organised by Hawa Institute,, Marathmcode. Marva Usman (X F) won the First position in English Essay Writing. Shifana N M (X F) and Sivani (VIII F) secured the First and Second position in English Short story writing. Risni secured the second position in Poem Recitation. Our students also won the secured position for Role Play competition held in Sikshak Sadan Chavakkad conducted by DEO. We also had student participation in 'Fiesta' organised by District Centre for English, Thrissur.
'ACTIVITIES-2018-2019'
On the School Annual Day held in February 2018, the students of Std 9 presented a dramatised version of Shakespeare's play 'Seven Ages of Man' in all colour and splendour. The previous academic year ended with the SSLC exam being the main highlight,wherein a commendable performance was made by the students in the English exam.
The new session began with renewed vigour with new members in the club and a full swing of activities.The first one was on June 5th 2018, observed as Environment Day. Items brought in by the students focussed on the enhanced use of biodegradable objects and efficient reuse of the non-biodegradable ones.
Reading day on June 19 was observed with a week-long activities, ranging from reading, recitation and word-building competitions to badge-making competition. Many students participated enthusiastically and prizes were given to the best ones.

HINDI CLUB
ഹിന്ദി ക്ലബ്ബിന്റെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ 2018 ജൂലൈ 31-ാം തീയതി ഹിന്ദി കഥാസമ്രാട്ടായ മുൻഷി പ്രേംചന്ദിന്റെ 118-ാം ജന്മദിനം സമുചിതമായി ആഘോഷിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. ചടങ്ങിൽ പ്രസംഗം, കവിതാലാപനം, ചിത്രപ്രദർശനം എന്നിവ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി-വിദ്യാർത്ഥിനികൾ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് പ്രേംചന്ദിനെ ആസ്പദമാക്കിയുള്ള ക്വിസ് മത്സരം നടത്തുകയും വിജയികൾക്ക് പ്രധാന അധ്യാപിക പ്രേംസി ടീച്ചർ പുരസ്കാരം നൽകുകയും ചെയ്തു.
