Social media; advantages and disadvantages Social media; it is a beautiful term especially for the new generation or the teenagers. It is a double edged sword. It can be used in good as well as in worst manner. If we use it in a correct manner,it will definitely make a way to the world of knowledge.We have the opportunity to learn more about our society and new things. Facebook, twitter, whatsapp , messenger etc are widely used in now a days. We should consider the demerits too which is too big. Late night chatting plays a major in distracting teenagers from studies. Time is too precious and is wasted. Talent for creative thinking, analysing etc being wasted. As a teenager I know in what are the area my mates are interested. They like to get new relationships. For this social media give an easy way. Now we are hearing many betrayal stories. Accepting of friends request from unknown lead to these betrayals. In my opinion social media should be provided to children in presence of parents. What is the need of a mobile phone for a student of 16? So care should be taken by elders too. For an energetic,brilliant generation teenagers should grow up as a social being with responsibility. For this we don't need media addicted children but life addicted ones.
